App broken after update — how to safely roll back

Hi everyone! Starting this thread to discuss the topic and hear from others with similar experiences. Happy to answer questions and share more details if needed.
 
Disabling auto-update on Android: Play Store > My Apps > [App] > Uncheck Auto-update.
 
On Fire Stick you can sometimes find older versions in the unofficial app stores.
 
iOS doesn't allow APK rollback easily. Restore from a backup if you have one.
 
iOS App Store sometimes lets you download the previous version if Apple kept it.
 
The previous version download option on iOS disappeared for my app. Developer removed it.
 
If rollback isn't possible, report the issue to the developer with your device details.
 
Developers usually respond to crash reports within a few days for major bugs.
 
Version 3.2.1 of the app was the last stable one before they broke something. Rolling back now.
