Just set up a 2025 Samsung Frame TV. Testing IPTV app compatibility since the 2025 models run an updated Tizen 8. Sharing findings for community reference.

Smart IPTV installs and runs on Tizen 8. MAC address activation process is unchanged from previous models.

GSE Smart IPTV also available on the 2025 model Store. Slightly better EPG display than Smart IPTV.

TiviMate is still Android TV only — not available on Samsung Tizen at all, 2025 or otherwise.

What about performance on 4K HDR streams? Any improvement with the newer hardware?

4K HDR streams play without buffering on the 2025 Frame using Smart IPTV, provided you have at least 25 Mbps steady connection. Hardware handles it well.
