Norway — tested during a Nordic football match. Stable throughout. The Nordic channels are HD quality. Good experience for a Scandinavian user.

UK user — was using a popular UK VPN server. Switched to a smaller city server (Leeds instead of London) and performance improved significantly. The London server was handling far more connections than the Leeds one.

UK user — confirmed this pattern on a major UK ISP. 2pm: 73 Mbps. 8pm: 31 Mbps. The 31 Mbps is still theoretically enough for HD IPTV but it is not just about speed — the packet loss and latency spike during congestion is what actually causes buffering. Even 31 Mbps with 3% packet loss will buffer.

Canada — one issue I had: MAG shows 'Incorrect portal URL' after the portal address is entered correctly. Turned out there was an invisible space at the end of the URL I had typed. Cleared and retyped carefully — worked.

Australia — EPG timing on my MAG was off by one hour. Fixed by setting the correct time zone in MAG settings. The local time display in Settings showed UTC, not local time.

The reset button hold during power-on is the key step most people miss. It forces recovery mode rather than normal boot.

Ethernet is always recommended for MAG initial setup. Switch to wired for the first setup, even if you plan to use Wi-Fi later.

Catch-up support varies — check your specific provider compatibility before choosing a player.

Check if your ISP has started blocking streaming content — this is increasingly common.

I use a digital OTA antenna for local channels. One-time cost of $40 for an indoor antenna.
